At Advanced Laser Clinic, we use Fotona’s LipLase™, which is effective in increasing the fullness of a person’s lips while maintaining a natural appearance.
LipLase™ refers to a non-invasive procedure which is used to enhance the appearance of the lips. This procedure is alluring as it involves no incisions or injections and enables the patient to return to daily routine spontaneously with little downtime involved.
The treatment involves the use of heat pulses on and around the lips. This helps in stimulating collagen production- the outcome of which is lips becoming fuller and plumper over time.
Benefits to undergoing laser lip enhancement:
No foreign materials (such as fillers) used
Little to no downtime
No needles
No bruising
Can return to work immediately
Prior to undergoing this procedure, you will need to have a consultation with one of our clinicians, who will be able to assess if you are a suitable candidate.
Prior to Treatment
Every person wishing to be treated at Advanced Laser Clinic will require a consultation with our Laser Consultant prior to their first treatment.
At this appointment, we welcome all questions to advance your understanding of the treatment. There will be a consultation form to be completed about your health and medications to assess your eligibility for treatment.
A patch test will be performed on your skin to ensure if the settings of the laser are suitable or not. If you observe no reactions for 24 hours after the patch test, we can get your laser treatment started.
Before laser therapy, it is essential to keep the area to be treated away from sun exposure. Your skin needs to be protected from the sun for a minimum of two weeks before any treatment commences. And, this is important both before and after the treatment. The lasers in the treatment provide a specific heat at a specific depth in the skin tissue to produce a desired result. This may intensify if exposed to sun and can cause unwanted side effects on the skin.
